Lucas Kang

Hey everyone! I'm Lucas and I'm a Senior at Richard Montgomery High School. Computer science-wise, I have been doing web development (HTML/CSS/JS) since 2018, and have created multiple websites. At school, I have taken courses such as AP Computer Science Principles, AP Computer Science, and IB Computer Science.

Other than coding, I enjoy doing a variety of outdoor activities, such as hiking, biking, and kayaking (if you ever want a hiking recommendation, just ask!). I also play basketball and tennis for fun, and like to run long distance.

Teaching coding is something I have tons of fun doing, and I'm really excited for an amazing summer season at KidCoders 365.

Hello! I’m Joshua and I’m currently a Senior at Richard Montgomery High School and I’m passionate about programming. I generally enjoy programming in Python and I find machine learning and artificial intelligence interesting in general.

I first encountered programming when I was around 10 or 11 years old back when I lived in California when I found out about ROBLOX Studio and how you can make games with the language Lua. However, I started to take it a bit more seriously during the summer before 6th grade as I began learning basic web development and eventually Python. I, however, didn’t further my knowledge of Python until around 2019, and since then I’ve loved coding in it.

Outside of programming and tech stuff, I also like to read and play basketball with my friends. I am very excited to be with you guys for this summer!

Pratheek Ramakrishna

Hi there! My name’s Pratheek Ramarkrishna and I’m teaching the Intro to Java workshop this summer. I first got into programming in 10th grade when I took AP Computer Science A (Java) and I have been coding in Java ever since. I have made several cool projects such as the game Battleship.

To continue my passion for Java, I have decided to start teaching it and I am excited to start this summer. In my free time I like to stay active by running and I also like to play video games.

Hello! My name is Oren Egnal and I am a Sophomore at Richard Montgomery High School. I started coding in 7th grade at the beginning of COVID. I took a website development class and a python course outside of school. At Richard Montgomery, I have only taken AP Computer Science Principles.

I love teaching and am greatly looking forward to meeting everyone this summer for various exciting sessions!

Hi! I’m Daniel Gallagher and I am a Senior at Richard Montgomery High School. I love to program and have worked with Python and Java since 2020. I also have experience in app development through Swift and building Machine Learning models. In school, I have taken AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A.

Outside of coding, I enjoy playing basketball, tennis, and weightlifting. I love to go on bike rides around my neighborhood and go for morning runs. I’m excited to teach for Kid Coders 365 this summer and can’t wait for this session to start!

Hi! I'm Han Lin and I am a Senior at Richard Montgomery High School. My interest in programming started in middle school when I took a Computer Science Discoveries class there. I took that interest into high school where I took AP Computer Science Principles. My greatest interest in Computer Science lies in Data Science and how data is used to push progression in various fields.

Outside of coding, I enjoy teaching STEM at local elementary schools, reading and playing table tennis. I look forward to drawing more volunteers and students to KidCoders to share our love of programming!
